Welcome to the Jarrell Middle School Library!
The JMS library is an inviting student-centered space where students and staff are encouraged to explore, collaborate, and create. We provide access to print and digital resources and lessons that strengthen students’ digital and information literacy skills. Students visit the library regularly with their ELAR classes for book check out, silent reading time, and digital citizenship and research lessons. The library is also open before, during lunch, and after school for students to use Chromebooks, printing services, video recording equipment, the green screen room, and the makerspace tables. Throughout the year the JMS library hosts a variety of activities and events that promote and celebrate reading as well as community and cultural awareness. Our goal is to instill a love of reading in all of our students and to help them become life long learners. Stop by and see all of the great things happening at the JMS library!
